Sahra Hayal Bellydancer

Sahra Hayal, dancer, choreographer and dance teacher. I born on 18th April in Cádiz; specifically in Chiclana de la Frontera, where I started my dance life since my childhood. When I was three years old my mum put me in flamenco classes, and I kept learning different styles... hip hop, latin dance...

In 2005, I knew bellydance in Susana Millán's school "Al-Menara" and in the next year, I was a part of Al-Menara Ballet. A few years later I started to be an instructor there and from 2014 to 2016 I managed Al-Menara school and now I am the owner and director of the school.

In this time, we did two theatre and dance shows: "Sueños del Desierto" in 2010, there I was a part of the ballet. And in 2016 "Vida, Amor y Muerte", where my role was like an antagonist.

With Al-Menara, we won several prizes and we offer shows. Every year I organize a theatrical dance show with my students in Chiclana.

In 2015 and 2016, I had the pleasure of being a part of Tito Seif's Al-Ahram Ballet in his annual festival in Valencia, Spain.

In 2016, with Jezabel González, we created Leil&Nahar duo. Leil&Nahar means "Night and day" two opposites ideas but similars at the same time, like us.

Now I am oriental dance instructor in my school Al-Menara and I´m also guest dancer and teacher in oriental dance festivals.

Researching more about this dance form I have learned with severals dance masters, like Asi Haskal, Teresa Tomás, Ana Saeeda, Mohamed Shahin, Yoursy Sharif, Mercedes Nieto, Randa Kamel, Tito Seif, Alex Delora...among others who show me to love this dance from many perspectives.

Of my dance, spectators highlight the quality of the staging and the elegance of my dance.
